Wasatch County Courts

The District CourtsJuvenile Courts, and Justice Courts make up the Wasatch County court system. The District Court maintains general jurisdiction over a broad range of civil and criminal cases, particularly those outside the exclusive jurisdiction of other courts. On the other hand, Juvenile Courts specialize in matters involving minors, holding exclusive authority over juvenile delinquency cases while sharing jurisdiction with District and Justice Courts for specific issues. Wasatch County Criminal and Civil Records

Wasatch County criminal and civil court records are available online through the MyCase and Xchange case management platforms.

Requesters may use the MyCase search tool when parties to a case. They must create a MyCase account using their email address, case number, and government-issued ID. After creating an account, the requester will receive an email with access instructions. Further inquiries can be forwarded via email to mycase@utcourts.gov. This tool is offered at no cost at the Wasatch County District Court office (find the address in the "Wasatch County Courts" section above).

However, requesters not party to a case can obtain Wasatch County criminal and civil court case records using Xchange. This tool is available at the District and Justice courthouse using the public terminals provided there.

Also, requesters may request criminal and civil court records by submitting a Request for Court Record form. Paper copies cost $0.25 per sheet, electronic storage costs $15 per unit, fax or email cost $5 for 10 pages or less and then $0.50 per page. It may take up to 10 business days for a response to be sent. It is important to note that the court will not fax or email records available on Xchange.

Criminal court records differ from criminal records which are generated by local and state law enforcement agencies and pertain to the criminal activity of the individual within county limits. Inquirers may obtain Wasatch county arrest records, warrant information, incarceration records, probation information and related details by seeking criminal history information.

Wasatch County Marriage Records

The Wasatch County Clerk-Auditor's Office maintains marriage records in Graham County and the Utah Office of Vital Records and Statistics. These records only became public 75 years after its creation and may be looked up by the general public at the Utah Division of Archives and Records Service and the Utah Historical Society.

However, marriage records before 75 years may be accessed by eligible persons such as parties named in the record, immediate relatives, guardians/parents, or legal representatives. Marriage records from 1978 to 2010 are available at the Utah Office of Vital Records and Statistics for mail or online requests only, while those outside of this timeframe may be accessed at the Wasatch County Clerk-Auditor's Office in person. Wasatch County Birth Records
