Duchesne County Criminal and Civil Records

Duchesne County Death Records

Duchesne County death records are subject to similar access restrictions as birth records. These records remain confidential for 50 years from the date of death. During this period, access is restricted to immediate family members, legal representatives, and individuals who can demonstrate a direct and tangible legal interest. Stepchildren are not considered immediate family members and will need a legal reason to obtain the death certificate of their stepparent.

Eligible persons can obtain a Duchesne County death certificate from the TriCounty Health Department's Roosevelt Office or order the record online. A valid ID and documents that prove the requester's relationship to the deceased may be required. Death certificates cost $30 for the first copy and $10 per extra copy ordered at the same time.
